Do you, as a parent, need help with Literacy and Numeracy?

Literacy and numeracy are essential skills which families need to succeed in their everyday lives.

If parents and carers need assistance to develop their reading, writing, English language and numeracy skills, help is only a phone call away. Offers adults the chance to improve their reading, writing and numeracy.

The council also offers information about courses held throughout the state and other services for those with English as their second language.

QCAL is a voluntary non-profit organisation representing Adult Literacy in Queensland. QCAL promotes literacy as the key to effective life-long learning for all. It seeks to establish and maintain opportunities for adult members of the community to improve their literacy and numeracy skills.

The Queensland Government refers people needing help with English translation to these organisations:
